Our boats depart from Ash Shuwaymiyah to the Khuriya Muriya Islands (or Kuria Muria, or Curia Muria) a group of five islands in the Arabian Sea, 40 km off the southeastern coast of the Sultanate of Oman. The islands form part of the province of Shalim and the Hallaniyat Islands in the governorate of Dhofar.

Dive sites in this remote and relatively unknown region offer a plethora of underwater life. You will be surprised by the size and quantity of marine life here. Dive into masses of fish, encounter the associated predators, large and small groupers, huge barracudas and sheer endless mackerel swarms. Another attraction waiting for craving for adventure divers are shipwrecks. Over the years, each of the wrecks has become a full of life artificial reef and home to an amazing amount of species. The islands are also regularly visited by dolphins and the local population of humpback whales.
